Stephanie Raco from Cantina Movil to attend Food Trucks 101 Seminar.

Industry experts and current food truck operators will be on-hand to offer expert advice to prospective food truck operators at a “Food Trucks 101” seminar to be held in Sydney on May 21.

Attendees will receive  practical, hands-on guidance to help them break into Sydney’s popular mobile food market from experts including Cantina Movil’s Stephanie Raco and The Veggie Patch Van’s Karl Cooney,

“When we asked Sydneysiders what they wanted late at night, many people said they wanted food trucks,” City of Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore said.

“The City recently endorsed making the food truck program permanent and staff are now working to expand the locations food trucks can trade in and working with new operators keen to set up their own businesses.

“This seminar offers would-be food truck operators a chance to get industry-specific advice from successful food truck businesses.”

The food truck workshop forms part of the City’s Business 101 seminar series, which offers hands-on business advice on everything from tech start-ups to small bars.

Food Trucks 101 will run from 6.30-8.30pm at the Barnet Long Room, Customs House, 31 Alfred Street, Circular Quay.
